TNB Card Services, a division of Town North Bank, N.A., has a one-of-a-kind heritage
in the credit union movement. Town North Bank is an independent bank located in Dallas, Texas, wholly-owned by credit unions and their members. The
bank was formed in 1972 and was purchased by a group of Texas credit unions in 1975 as a way to gain entry into the electronic funds transfer market.
TNB Card Services was then formed in 1976 to create a way for credit unions to issue credit cards for the first time.
