TNB CARD SERVICES PROVIDES 1ST COMMUNITY FCU INTEGRATED, SINGLE-SOURCE DEBIT PROCESSING SOLUTION

DALLAS - January 30, 2006 - 1st Community Federal Credit Union of San Angelo, Texas, now offers its members access to their funds from more than 1.6 million ATM and retail locations. The credit union has converted its PIN and signature debit card processing to a single source solution offered by TNB Card Services.

TNB's debit solution will allow 1st Community Federal Credit Union to integrate PIN and signature into one platform and save time, improve efficiency, enjoy greater flexibility, and reduce the burden of back-office tasks involved with debit and ATM transactions. In addition, the product will help reduce fraud, secure higher transaction approval rates, and provide market-leading reliability and uptime with PC-based point-and-click management tools and provides 1st Community gateways to all major ATM networks.

"Integrating our debit services is important to streamlining our processes and improving productivity," said George Sweet, executive vice president of 1st Community Federal Credit Union. "We look forward to the cost savings and reduction of work in the back office associated with multiple platforms. By combining the processing into a single solution, we can better serve our members and give them the same level of debit services at a lower cost."

1st Community Federal Credit Union was originally chartered in 1953 to serve only civilian employees at Goodfellow Air Force Base. With six branches, it now serves more than 25,000 members from 16 counties in central and western Texas, and has $136 million in assets.

1st Community has been a TNB client for more than 25 years and Sweet said there was no reason to do business with another processor. Still, the credit union did due diligence and evaluated other processors before deciding to stay with TNB.

"TNB treats our members as if they are their own. Customer service is important to us and TNB has always delivered a high level of customer satisfaction to us. The fact that we can now integrate our debit card processing into one platform was just another good reason to keep working with TNB."
