Two More Credit Unions Turn to TNB Card Services
to Consolidate Their Credit and Debit Card Processing

Dallas – November 26, 2007 – In order to improve card processing efficiencies and increase fraud protection, two Texas credit unions, AMOCO Federal Credit Union and San Jacinto Area Credit Union, have turned to TNB Card Services to manage all their credit and debit card processing. TNB has been processing the credit card transactions for both credit unions since 1976.

The $438 million AMOCO Federal CU has been a TNB credit card and signature debit processing client for more than 30 years. Its PIN debit conversion, which will be completed in early 2008, will streamline AMOCO’s card processing, allowing the credit union to better manage the performance of its card program.

"TNB has proven itself time and time again with its processing capabilities and marketing programs," said Shawn Bailey, president of AMOCO Federal Credit Union. "The expanded relationship will further enhance the credit union’s cardholder relations and enable us to be more strategic in how we manage our card portfolios."

Bailey added that to grow the card portfolio and improve its performance, the credit union needed to streamline its card processing and maintain a consistent marketing program for all of its card products. The credit union, he said, will be stronger and more efficiently managed with a single processor.

AMOCO Federal Credit Union is the 25th largest credit union in Texas. Its 52,500 members are from more than 150 select groups located within Galveston County.

For neighboring San Jacinto Area Credit Union in Pasadena, Texas, consolidating all of its credit and debit card processing with TNB means improved cardholder relations and program efficiency.

The $60 million credit union will now have an economical, efficient, convenient, and more secure processing platform for all of its card products. With TNB, San Jacinto Area won’t be required to reissue debit cards for existing cardholders. Instead, the card accounts will easily be transferred from the current platform to TNB.

As Gay Knighten, senior vice president of lending for San Jacinto Area Credit Union, explained, "TNB’s processing platform is flexible, easy to use, and convenient. It was an easy decision to switch our PIN debit to TNB. Our debit and credit card portfolio is in good hands with TNB."

"Credit unions large and small are starting to see the value of streamlined card processing," said Dusty Bowers, senior vice president of TNB Card Services. "Not only do they gain efficiencies with a single card processor, but they improve the protection of the cardholders with advanced neural networking fraud protection that covers all cardholders."
