Security One FCU Streamlines Debit and Credit
Card Processing with TNB Card Services

DALLAS - January 20, 2009 - Security One Federal Credit Union of Arlington, Texas, has made a strategic move to convert its signature debit and credit card processing to TNB Card Services. The credit union is consolidating its card processing in order to gain operational efficiencies, as well as to improve its marketing efforts by leveraging the experience, tools, and resources that TNB provides.

TNB will take over the processing of approximately 2,500 signature debit accounts and 1,500 credit cards with outstanding balances exceeding $2 million. The Security One FCU credit card program will be evaluated by TNB’s portfolio consulting team to assess pricing, product, and risk in correlation with its performance. Security One also plans to roll out TNB’s Rewards2U® loyalty program for both its signature debit and credit cardholders. The credit union will leverage Rewards2U for other credit union products and services, such as online bill pay, home loans, and auto loans in addition to using it to reward cardholders for usage.

"Growing our card programs has been a challenge for us," said Pamela Stephens, president and CEO of Security One Federal Credit Union. "Our program has been adrift, with no real guidance from our current processor. We wanted a partner that understands the payments market, as well as the credit union philosophy, and can direct our card programs. TNB clearly demonstrated that they have the knowledge and capability to support our efforts. More importantly, they are sincerely interested in helping us grow, not just adding to their bottom line."

The new processing agreement enables Security One to issue new credit union designed plastics for its card-carrying members. Debit cardholders will receive a Texas-themed card and credit cardholders will receive a patriotic card with an image of an eagle and U.S. flag. "Our members are very patriotic," explained Stephens. "Our new plastics reflect the pride and patriotism of our members."

Security One Federal Credit Union has 10,000 members and assets of $46 million. With two branches, the credit union serves the growing communities of Arlington and Mansfield, Texas.
